Technician/Sr. Technician

Position

An exciting opportunity exists for a new member of the Deposition Development Group at QD Vision. The position requires work under limited supervision on varied and complicated laboratory projects in support of our corporate strategy. The successful candidate will work closely with Senior Deposition Group members as well as members of other teams (Chemistry, Device) to develop prototype equipment, develop non-standard tests, and build product prototypes. He or she will generate, analyze, and interpret data, which may be communicated in writing or verbally. This will require the use software tools, graphics and statistics as appropriate.

Education

Bachelors degree in a science or engineering discipline, or Associate s degree with experience.

Requirements

Inventive, inquisitive self-starter
Hands on prototyping, experience with tools, basic electronics, soldering
Familiarity with lab equipment such as microscope, UV-Vis spectrophotometer, glove boxes, vacuum systems, etc is preferred
Microsoft Office proficiency
Basic CAD proficiency
